According to the company, the Hummer H3E is able to run for 400 miles before refuelling.
After building the Hummer H3E, the company plans to introduce its powertrain to as many SUVs as possible.
California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger said about the Hummer H3E : "I got a sense that I was sitting in a car that represents the future of transportation in America."
