Lexus RX 400h Review

The Lexus RX 400h is impressively smooth, comfy, luxurious, responsive in all driving situations and flexible when it comes to transporting people or cargo. The 2008 Lexus RX 400h is Lexus’s smallest car-based crossover, and it’s very similar to the RX 350. The Lexus RX 400h crossover is the only true luxury hybrid SUV on today’s market.

Under the metal, the Lexus RX 400h’s hybrid drivetrain combines a 3.3-liter V6 engine with a 288-volt nickel metal battery pack and high-torque, electric-drive motor-generators. It features Toyota’s latest version of Hybrid Synergy Drive. The hybrid RX 400h is extremely powerful. It only needs 7.3 seconds to reach 60 mph. This hybrid can tow up to 3500 pounds, and has fuel economy of 27 city / 24 highway for front-drive models. The all-wheel-drive model rates at 26 city / 24 highway. The performance is quite good, the gas mileage is excellent for an SUV as long as you don’t have a heavy foot on the accelerator.
